Patients & Visitors
Welcome to the Blanding Hospital
Whether you are coming to us for medical services or just visiting a loved
one, our team at Blue Mountain Hospital wants to make sure that you are
taken care of. The hospital’s patient and visitor amenities provide
guests with nutritious meals, quality visiting time with patients, an
occurrence reporting system, and a
friendly staff ready to answer any of your questions.
If you are checking in as a patient for a non-emergency procedure, the
registration desk is open 6:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday through Friday
and 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on weekends.
Preferred Visiting Hours
We know it can be tough having a loved one in the hospital and that families
want to spend as much time with patients as possible. A visit from a close
friend or relative is often very beneficial patients and we encourage
people to visit as often as possible.
For the comfort and wellbeing of all our patients, we do ask that guests
limit their visits between the hours of 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Immediate
family, such as spouses, parents, etc. may be allowed to visit anytime,
and even remain with patients through the night if desired.
Visitors must check in at the front desk (or at the ER after hours), and
if visiting a newborn baby you will be asked to show identification. Children
under 12 years of age may not be allowed to see patients. If visiting
after 8:00 p.m., visitors must check in through the
Emergency Room on the north end of the building. Access will be allowed depending on
the patient's condition and the size of the room.
Café
Visitors are free to make use of the hospital
Café, which is open from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. The Cafe offers
daily lunch and dinner specials Monday through Friday and offers a variety of food and beverages for your
convenience. We are pleased to offer this service so that you can stay
close to friends and loved ones without having to go out for food.
